Ted Lyddon Hatten

Ted Lyddon Hatten is a visual artist and theologian currently living in Des Moines, Iowa. He is artist in residence at the Wesley House at Drake University, adjunct faculty, and Conference Artist for the Iowa Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. His pioneering work in the field of visual homiletics comes out of his belief that the visual experience has a unique ability to deepen the substantive conversations of our day. His work is almost always mixed media and includes: installation art, dry painting, encaustic, and photography.
